The popular TV star talked about her experience of having a skin peel while Emma Gabriel, a nutritionist at Europe’s Leading Model Agency Models 1 and friend of the specialist medical aesthetics clinic in Jesmond, gave the girls some tips on healthy eating.
Finalist Shauna Gallon said: “I’ve learnt so much about looking after my skin and healthy living to keep in the best shape possible.”
The final is set to take place at Newcastle Civic Centre on Friday 3 June 2016 where Newcastle Skin Clinic owner Luisa Scott will be a judge and one lucky contestant will be crowned the overall Miss Newcastle at the glamorous Carnival-themed bash.
Luisa’s second venture, Glam Squad Express, which launched in April will be the make-up sponsor, creating all of the finalists’ looks on the night. Luisa has also supported Cash for Kids’ efforts by donating pocket mirror gifts from which all proceeds go to the charity.
Jesmond beauty, hair and nails bar Glam Squad Express preened and pampered the finalists when they were unveiled at the Official Launch Party held at Livello this May. It marks the second year Luisa has partnered with Tyne Tees Models and Miss Newcastle.
Luisa said: “I love being involved in Miss Newcastle – it’s an exciting event for the city and really rewarding to help raise funds for such a deserving cause. The final show down is always fantastic and I can’t wait to see what the girls bring to the catwalk.”
The winner will secure a place in the semi-finals of the Miss England 2017 competition, as well as a contract with Tyne Tees Models. For tickets, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Both Newcastle Skin Clinic and Glam Squad Express have established an impressive North East client base which includes Newcastle models and celebrities.
