Stars of hit Canadian teen drama series The Next Step are hot-footing it back to the UK this Spring with a brand new live dance stage show ‘The Next Step  – Live on Stage’, and will be visiting Newcastle City Hall for one night only on Wednesday 31 May 2017.

After performing the ‘Wild Rhythm’ tour in eight countries to over 200,000 fans in 2016, including a sell-out visit to City Hall in April, The Next Step team is back due to overwhelming popular demand with a sensational new show choreographed by cast members Jordan Clark and Trevor Tordjman.

The Next Step TV show, which follows the lives of a group of award winning dancers at the Next Step dance studios in Toronto, hit TV screens back in 2013 and has since become a global phenomenon, taking the teen market by storm.

The new stage show will again feature the most popular and talented cast members of the TV show. Joining Jordan and Trevor are Brittany Raymond (Riley), Isaiah Peck (Henry), Briar Nolet (Richelle), Myles Erlick (Noah), Victoria Baldesarra (Michelle) along with season 4 newcomers Shelby Bain (Amy) and Alexandra Chaves (Piper).

Celebrating dance in a concert-like setting, the show features high-energy group numbers that showcase the group’s flawless timing, eye-popping acrobatics and overall mastery of dance.  New to the ‘Live on Stage’ show are dance routines connected to the plotlines of the TV show, new duet and trio combinations and, thanks to modern technology, there might just be a few special guest appearances too!

The show will play Newcastle City Hall for one night only as part of a strictly limited nine date tour.

The Next Step ‘Live on Stage’ plays at Newcastle City Hall on Wednesday 31 May 2017.  Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 3 March priced from £35 and can be purchased at www.theatreroyal.co.uk or from the Theatre Royal Box office on 08448 11 21 21 (Calls cost 7ppm plus your phone company’s access charge).
