John Lewis and British Vogue have come together in an exciting collaboration which will see the two brands share their stories of style with shoppers across the country. Launching Monday 26 June, a curated selection of ‘VogueRecommends’ looks, from the John Lewis  womenswear department at Newcastle, will be available for customers to explore during Personal Styling Appointments*. The collaboration is part of the retailer’s national treasures campaign, a summer long celebration of life, design and culture.

The ‘Vogue Recommends’ looks have been carefully selected by outgoing British Vogue Fashion Director, Lucinda Chambers, who is set to leave the magazine after 36 years. Lucinda spent time in John Lewis shops choosing timeless, quality items that can transcend seasons and together serve as the building blocks of any wardrobe. The selection includes universal pieces that can effortlessly be worked into wardrobes, from white shirts and floral dresses to statement earrings and shoes.

The Personal Styling team at John Lewis Newcastle will guide shoppers through the ‘Vogue Recommends’ key pieces and advise on how to style the looks. Throughout the summer John Lewis will announce further ‘Vogue Recommends’ collections selected by British Vogue’s Executive Retail Editor Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey and Fashion Features Editor Ellie Pithers respectively.
