New date for Under-21s' Villa trip
Newcastle United Under-21s' Premier League 2 trip to Aston Villa has a new date.
The young Magpies were due to face their Villans counterparts on Friday, 9th September at Bodymoor Heath but the Division Two clash was postponed following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The fixture will now take place on Friday, 14th October, with kick-off taking place at 6pm (BST) at the same venue.
Elliott Dickman's side currently occupy sixth place in the second tier of the Premier League 2, with United's second-string one point adrift of the Division Two play-off spots.
