Toon in training: United collaborate with Clarets at Cidade do Futebol
Having touched down in Lisbon on Friday afternoon, Newcastle United's players trained at the Portuguese Football Federation's 'Cidade do Futebol' on Saturday.
And with Burnley also training at the impressive training facility as part of their own training camp under new boss Vincent Kompany, the two clubs split their squads to take part in two concurrent 11 v 11 sessions. Newcastle scored nine goals across the sessions, with Joe Willock and Miguel Almirón both netting twice and Allan Saint-Maximin, Elliot Anderson, Matt Ritchie, Callum Wilson and Jacob Murphy also on target.
More details and all the United goals from the sessions are available here, while club photographer Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery as the Magpies built up to their friendly with Benfica next week.
