The Magpies had already enjoyed a productive training session with Burnley on Saturday at the Portuguese Football Federation's Cidade do Futebol, and returned to the same venue on Monday for some more hard work. 

But it was clearly enjoyable too, with the positive momentum from the end of last season continuing into the current pre-season campaign.
