Wolves clash in pictures

Allan Saint-Maximin's sensational volley gave Newcastle a point at Wolves on Sunday, and continued their unbeaten start to the new season.

Eddie Howe's side have now avoided defeat in their last seven games in all competitions, stretching back to the end of last season, and have won four of them. And while they could well have got all three points at Molineux after dominating in terms of possession and chances, the fact they were trailing going into the final minute of normal time means this was a good result for the Magpies.

Rúben Neves had given the home side a first-half lead with a powerful low drive, but Saint-Maximin's strike was the very least United deserved as they earned a share of the spoils with new signing Alexander Isak watching on from the stands. Club photographer Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
