Seven years after joining Newcastle's youth set-up, right-back Joe Oliver signed his first professional contract with the Magpies in the summer of 2021.
Born in South Shields, the defensive teenager made 21 competitive appearances for United's second-string last term despite being sidelined for three months due to injury.
The attacking full-back was an admirer of former Magpies forward Peter Lovenkrands whilst growing up and is an admirer of Brazilian right-back Dani Alves.
Joe made his under-21s debut for Newcastle's second-string at the age of 17 as a second-half substitute during a 4-0 Premier League 2 victory against Swansea City.
