Almirón's Fulham volley named Budweiser Premier League Goal of the Month
Miguel Almirón's stunning volley against Fulham has been named October's Budweiser Premier League Goal of the Month.
The in-form Paraguayan scored six goals in as many matches during an outstanding run of form, which also resulted in the South American forward picking up the EA Sports Player of the Month award in the process.
The 28-year-old netted his first of two goals against Fulham in terrific fashion, exchanging passes with Bruno Guimarães before rifling an excellent first-time volley into the far left-hand corner.
Also nominated were Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne, Arsenal's Thomas Partey, Chelsea's Conor Gallagher, Antony of Manchester United, Everton's Dwight McNeil, and Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.
This is the second Goal of the Month award that Almirón has won during the calendar year after picking up April's prize following a stunning solo effort in a 1-0 home win against Crystal Palace.
