Joe Willock and Miguel Almirón have been nominated for the Premier League's Budweiser Goal of the Month award for November and December.
The Newcastle United duo have been shortlisted for their strikes against Chelsea and Leicester City respectively as the Magpies enjoyed a fruitful end to 2022.
Willock's terrific first-time effort in front of the Gallowgate End handed United all three points at home to Chelsea just before the World Cup break in November, with Almirón's effort on Boxing Day - an excellent team goal capped by a cool finish from the Paraguayan - helped Eddie Howe's side to a 3-0 win in their first league game back following the conclusion of the tournament in Qatar.
Willock and Almirón are shortlisted for the prize alongside six other top flight players - Leicester City's Youri Tielemans, Brighton's Solly March, Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah, Liverpool's Mo Salah, Southampton's James Ward-Prowse and Everton's Demarai Gray.
