Newcastle United Under-21s' Premier League Cup visit of Bristol City on Wednesday afternoon has been postponed.
The young Magpies were due to face their Robins counterparts on Wednesday, 18th January at Whitley Park but, due to the recent spell of cold weather on Tyneside, the Group E encounter has been called off due to a frozen pitch.
A new date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course.
