They left it late, but Alexander Isak's 89th-minute winner handed Newcastle United another vital victory at home to Fulham on Sunday.
Isak's last-gasp header sealed all three points at St. James' Park after an eventful afternoon, in which the visitors' Aleksandar Mitrovic - a former United player - saw his second half penalty chalked off after he appeared to strike the ball twice.
That left Eddie Howe's charges with a chance to keep the pressure on Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table, and it was an opportunity they took, as Isak pounced from close range to send Tyneside wild and leave the Magpies in third - just a point behind second-placed City.
