Newcastle-born goalkeeper Langley put pen to paper on a first professional contract with his boyhood club in 2019.
Langley, who went to St. Benet-Biscop Catholic Academy in Bedlington, is a towering young stopper who stands at 6'7".
The youngster featured heavily for United's under-18 squad before progressing to under-23 level, where he turned in a number of impressive, commanding displays.
Having joining United's Academy at the age of 16 following an impressive trial, Langley is looking to emulate the likes of shot-stoppers Tim Krul and Freddie Woodman, both of whom excelled in United's youth system before making the presences felt between the sticks for Newcastle's first team.
And the 20-year-old was handed his senior debut for the Magpies in July 2021, when he lined up in United's pre-season friendly at York City.
