Arsenal clash in pictures

Newcastle United consolidated their place in the Premier League's top four with a goalless draw at leaders Arsenal on Tuesday night - becoming the first team to stop the Gunners scoring on their own patch so far this season.

Head coach Eddie Howe praised the "magnificent" Magpies after their solid showing at the Emirates Stadium, which saw goalkeeper Nick Pope equal a club record of six consecutive games without conceding a goal at the home of a side who boasted a 100 per cent win record at home until United arrived in North London.

Club photographer Serena Taylor was in the capital to bring nufc.co.uk this gallery.
