Three days on from Tuesday's Carabao Cup win over Bournemouth, Eddie Howe and his Newcastle United side were back out on the training pitch on Friday as Monday's trip to Leicester City approaches.
United head to the King Power Stadium on Boxing Day as Premier League football restarts following the World Cup break, with the Magpies currently flying high in third place in the table.
The 1-0 win over the Cherries in midweek sent Howe's men into the last eight of the competition and they head to Leicester on a high and on an 11-game unbeaten run in all competitions, with five successive league victories under their belt.
And after Friday's session, the United squad were joined by some of the club's younger Academy players - who had watched training and enjoyed a kickabout too - for lunch in the club's refurbished training centre restaurant, as the youngsters got to spend some time with their idols and collect a few signatures as well.
