Team news: United unchanged for Fulham
Written by Dan King
Eddie Howe has named the same starting XI as the midweek Carabao Cup quarter-final victory over Leicester City for Newcastle United's Premier League clash with Fulham.
The Magpies boss admitted he would have to "make a decision" on Brazilian midfielder Joelinton, but the the 26-year-old midfielder keeps his place in an unchanged team - although Martin Dúbravka and Jamal Lewis are on the bench in place of Karl Darlow and Elliot Anderson.
Nick Pope is looking to record his eighth successive clean sheet and will play behind a defence comprising of Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schär, Sven Botman and Dan Burn, a former Fulham player.
Bruno Guimarães and Sean Longstaff are alongside Joe Willock in the midfield engine room while Joelinton and Miguel Almirón will occupy wider positions. Almirón scored twice when United won 4-1 at Craven Cottage in October.
Callum Wilson starts up front, with Alexander Isak and Chris Wood among the substitutes. Joining them, Dúbravka and Lewis are Javier Manquillo, Jamaal Lascelles, Matt Ritchie, Jacob Murphy and Allan Saint-Maximin.
